Met José in Cusco, Perú while backpack traveling across South America. He and his partners built a platform that allow his users from Perú, Ecuador and Mexico to easily set up Tourism-related websites, and then charge them a monthly maintenance fee.
The CMS was a bit rough and at the time they were only offering 3 templates. So initially he wanted me to try and build another 3 models, but ended up building 7 more.
Meeting with business from the area to see how to improve the platform, and then selling new templates were some of things we did in my time there.
They sold the business some time later that year.
