BDG got in a meeting with ESPN as they were looking for an agency to promote the first ever Olympics broadcast of that network in my country.
So I came up with the idea of giving people perspective about what amazing feature you really need to make to break an Olympic record.
To do this, we created all the look & feel that was later used on billboards and real size graphics that we placed at various places of the City of Buenos Aires where millions pass every day, like the train station, the subterranean metro, big avenues and touristic places.
Finally, I designed a landing page that showed up live every hashtag involving ESPN during the entire Olympics. First few days it even crashed due to the sheer amount of visitors that flooded the hashtag, so it was a good experience to work fast to solve it.
Turned out our idea performed excellent, and did some help in the end since ESPN was the best on TV ratings for the competition broadcast in the City of Buenos Aires during the entire Olympic event.
