When I got Dane’s invitation for this contest, I was immediately drawn into the theme.
He even made a video explaining why was he holding such a project!
I felt that the idea of a man entering a cave was better than the door and worked on it instead of the Door/tentacle theme that was initially suggested. Light and darkness are a great part of where fear comes from, and nothing like a cave for a young adventurer to beat and conquer, or be submitted to years of therapy as a young adult. So since he wanted to use a one color design, getting depth was easier to do over a black shirt. Added some grittiness to the design over bold fonts, also as requested got us a nice product.
My work was one of the five winners they picked among 100 proposals!
