gOD-Talk is a groundbreaking project spearheaded by the National Museum of African American History and Culture Center for the Study of African American Religious Life in association with Pew Research Center which seeks to: · Uncover how millennials interact with religion and the transformative nature of community, the internet, and space. · Amplify leading millennial voices including activists, entertainers, entrepreneurs, athletes, academicians, religious leaders, and politicians by creating a space for their experiences to be shared and documented. · And create an opportunity for religious organizations and leaders, researchers, and engaged citizens to better understand the dynamic ways Black millennials engage with religion.
This event wants to enhance the coming back to live action concept after COVID times and there are few spaces that breathe action like an Artist studio. Located in New Orleans, artist Brandan “B-Mike” Odums will host this event in a warehouse where art can speak for and to the everlasting youth underground movement. A place that symbolizes the way art can become the expression of the unheard.
We worked closely with B-Mike’s team to create a Logo and Brand Identity that fits his own style. So we used similar spray paint brushes, stencils and Hip Hop fonts, to create the Set, Banners, Video Graphics and various types of Signage for the event.
