I’m excited to share a behind the scenes glimpse into a project that has been a highlight of my creative journey: The Red Bull Culture Clash 2023 held at the Gateway Center Arena in Atlanta, USA. In collaboration once again with the awesome Production Rockstars, and the amazing Red Bull Culture team, this event was a true testament to the power of culture mesh through creativity.

The Project

Over the course of over three months, the team worked on the challenge of transforming the Gateway Center Arena and its surroundings into a vibrant hub for the Red Bull Culture Clash brand. The goal was clear: apply an established visual style to capture the essence of the event and make an impression on the more than 3,000 people in attendance.

My Role

As the Creative Director overseeing the branding style of the Arena and all Digital presentations, my task was to dress the space with energy and dynamism. I learned alongside the team that it wasn’t just about creating a visually appealing venue, but more about crafting an experience that builds upon the core of the Red Bull Culture. Through countless creative iterations, we produced over 700 images for this single project. Each image was carefully curated to align with the visual style and spirit of the event, whether as a digital or printed piece.

What I learned

The journey was not without its challenges, but the collaborative efforts between Production Rockstars, the Red Bull Culture team, and our creative team resulted in a visually stunning and cohesive brand experience. The Red Bull Culture Clash at Gateway Center Arena was more than a competition; it was a celebration of diversity, creativity, and the power of collaboration around the globe. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a dynamic and impactful event.
